Beezie Claw Machine System

An ongoing project for Beezie, a Web3-powered virtual claw machine platform, focused on creating visually engaging and reward-driven experiences that blend gaming mechanics with digital collectibles.

Deliverables

The goal was to elevate the traditional claw machine concept into something more premium and visually rewarding. Each machine was designed with a clear hierarchy: the higher the cost to play, the more refined and visually rich the experience became. Themes were tailored to match the potential rewards, reinforcing anticipation and perceived value before the player even interacts.

Process

My role covered both design and animation:

  • Designing multiple claw machines with distinct visual identities tied to reward tiers

  • Creating responsive idle animations, where the claw subtly reacts to player input

  • Developing reveal sequences that build tension and payoff

  • Crafting impactful box-opening moments, scaled from common to legendary tiers

The focus throughout was on player psychology using motion, timing, and visual progression to turn a simple interaction into a satisfying, high-impact moments.

To accelerate concept exploration without sacrificing control, we incorporated a guided AI workflow using ComfyUI. By feeding it custom-designed silhouettes and curated inputs, I was able to direct the output rather than rely on randomness, allowing for rapid iteration across multiple visual directions within tight deadlines.

Review

Yori has been behind every Claw 3D render for Beezie, and honestly, he’s made the whole thing come to life in a way we couldn’t have imagined at the start.

He just gets it.
The vibe, the details, the little things that make it feel real. Super easy to work with, quick to iterate, and always pushing things a bit further than expected.

Couldn’t have built this without him.
